Help & guides

Everything iNEARTial does,
and how to use it.

A screen-by-screen guide, a few real scenarios, and what each plan actually includes.

I

Getting started

01

Your account and profiles

Signing up creates your account and one profile called "Me." If you share a login with someone — a couple training together, say — add a second profile from the profile picker (tap your name in the top bar). Each profile keeps its own workouts, history, and measurements; only billing and login are shared.

02

Import a starter pack

A brand-new account has an empty exercise library on purpose — the first time you open Library you'll be offered a set of starter packs (Dumbbells, a barbell rack, resistance bands, a commercial gym floor, or Bodyweight if you have no equipment at all). Pick whatever matches what you actually own; you can import more packs later from Library's "Import library" button any time your equipment changes.

II

Building a workout

01

Ad hoc, right now

"+ New" on the Train screen lets you pick exercises from your library and start immediately — no planning required. Good for a one-off session or trying something new.

02

Build a workout

"🏗 Build a workout" assembles a structured session by type — Full Body, Upper, Lower, Push, Pull, or Core — filling each slot with a movement from your own library rather than a fixed exercise list, so it always fits whatever equipment you actually have.

03

Generate a full programme

"🤖 Generate workout" asks a few questions (goal, session length, days per week, how many weeks) and drafts a complete multi-week split for you to review before anything is created — see the plan table below for which tiers include this and how many generations per month.

III

Running a session

01

One set at a time

Tap a workout on Train to start it (or pick up right where you left off, if one's already in progress). The runner shows one big, easy-to-tap card for your current set — weight and reps pre-filled from last time, so an unchanged set is a single tap to log.

02

The rest timer

Logging a set starts the rest timer automatically. It can collapse to a small strip at the bottom of the screen if it's in your way, and keeps counting down in the background if you switch exercises.

03

Personal bests

A green highlight on an exercise means you just logged a personal best for it — the same green also shows up against that session in your history afterwards.

IV

Tracking progress

01

Overview, Lifts, Volume, Balance

The Progress screen has a tab for your streak and recent PRs, one per exercise showing your strength trend over time, one for weekly training volume, and one showing which muscle groups you're actually training versus neglecting.

02

Full session history

The Sessions tab is your complete history, fully editable after the fact — fix a mis-typed weight or a wrong date any time. Export it as a CSV, or import one back in (handy when moving from another install).

V

Body & scheduling

01

Body measurements

The Body screen's Record tab logs weight plus 13 body measurements, each pre-filled from your last entry so updating is a small adjustment, not retyping everything. Capable devices get a rotatable 3D body with a heat-map of the week's training alongside the usual flat diagram.

02

Plan your week

Train's Plan tab sets a standing weekly pattern (e.g. "Monday morning: Full Body A") or one-off dates on the calendar — either way it shows up on the Today block on the day itself.

03

Google Calendar sync

Once you've linked Google (Account Settings → Connected accounts), a separate toggle lets you push your schedule to your own Google Calendar — one-way, off by default, and entirely optional.

VI

For personal trainers

01

Consented, revocable client access

A trainer account is separate from your own personal training — invite a client (or accept their invite) from the Trainer console, reachable from Account Settings, and they choose exactly which profile to share. Either side can disconnect at any time; nothing about the client's own data changes when they do. See the Trainer page for full pricing and tier details.

02

Switching between your own training and your roster

If your account has an active trainer plan, a small Personal / Trainer switch appears on the Train screen (and again on the Trainer console itself) — flick it to jump straight to your client roster, or back to your own workouts. It also remembers your choice as your login landing preference, so you land back where you left off next time you sign in.

03

Real reporting, AI review, client-approved suggestions

A client's report shows the exact same training history, volume, and pattern-balance analytics they see on their own Progress screen. An AI-drafted coaching summary or a single programming change never applies itself — it lands on the client's own Account Settings for them to accept or decline.

VII

A few scenarios

→

"I just bought a barbell and a rack."

Open Library → Import library → pick the Barbell/Rack starter pack. Then either "🏗 Build a workout" for a structured session using it, or add exercises to an existing workout one at a time from the Library screen itself.

→

"Am I actually getting stronger?"

Progress → Lifts tab → pick the exercise. You'll see an estimated one-rep-max trend over whichever period you choose (7/30/90/365 days, or all time on paid plans — see below).

→

"My partner and I share one login."

Add a second profile from the profile picker. Each of you gets your own workouts, history, and body measurements — switch between profiles any time from the top bar. Note the Free plan is limited to one profile; see the table below.

→

"I want my sessions on my phone's calendar."

Link Google from Account Settings, then turn on Google Calendar sync in the same section. Your Plan tab's schedule starts pushing to your Google Calendar automatically from then on.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use iNEARTial with no equipment at all?

Yes — the Bodyweight/Calisthenics starter pack covers all twelve movement patterns with no equipment needed, and it's added to every new account automatically so there's always something to train with from day one.

What happens to my data if I downgrade my plan?

Nothing is ever deleted. Downgrading starts a 14 day grace period — during that window everything keeps working exactly as before, giving you a chance to remove any equipment, workouts, or profiles you don't need down to your new plan's limits yourself. If the window ends and you're still over a limit, the oldest items are kept active and anything past that is hidden (not deleted) until you upgrade again — a banner appears letting you know when this happens. Re-upgrading immediately restores anything that was hidden this way.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Account Settings → Billing → "Manage billing" opens Stripe's own secure billing portal, where you can switch plans, update your card, or cancel — iNEARTial never handles your card details directly.

Can two people share one account?

Yes — add a second profile from the profile picker. Each profile keeps entirely separate workouts, history, and measurements under the one shared login and subscription. The Free plan allows one profile; Standard and Premium allow more (see the plan table below).

Does the AI workout generator cost extra?

No separate charge — it's included in the Standard and Premium plans with a monthly generation limit each (see the plan table below), and isn't available on Free.

Can I get my data out if I want to leave?

Yes, any time — export a single profile's session history as a CSV from the Progress screen, or export your entire account (every profile, workout, and measurement) as one file from Account Settings, no need to contact us first.

Does Google Calendar sync read anything from my calendar?

No — it's one-way only. iNEARTial pushes your schedule to a Google Calendar it creates events on; it never reads, modifies, or deletes anything else already on your calendar.

I'm a trainer — do I need a second account for my own training?

No — trainer tools are a separate plan layered on top of your existing account, not a second login. Keep your own personal plan (Free works fine) and pay only for the trainer tier that fits your client count; see the Trainer page for pricing.

I found a bug or have a feature idea — what do I do?

Email contact@ineartial.com — for a bug, include what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead.
